Our Coalition Welcomes a Professional Lobbyist to the Advisory Board

We are proud to announce a significant milestone for Pilots for HIMS Reform: the addition of a dedicated professional lobbyist to our advisory board.

This important step reflects the rapid growth and credibility of our movement. As we continue our mission to advocate for transparency, fairness, and accountability in the FAA HIMS Program, having experienced lobbying expertise will strengthen our ability to bring reform directly to Congress, federal agencies, and aviation leaders.

Building a Powerful Team

Our advisory board now consists of:

• Three founder pilots who have experienced the HIMS process firsthand
• Two seasoned aviation attorneys dedicated to protecting pilot rights
• Two respected HIMS Aviation Medical Examiners (AMEs)
• One HIMS psychiatrist with direct insight into current treatment practices
• And now—a professional lobbyist committed to advancing reform

This diverse coalition represents a powerful alliance of expertise, lived experience, and professional advocacy. Together, we are preparing to take our message further than ever before.

Why This Matters

For too long, pilots, air traffic controllers, and other aviation professionals have faced a lack of transparency and consistency in medical certification and monitoring. With the support of our new lobbyist, we will be positioned to:

• Present evidence-based recommendations for reform
