Speak Up Without Fear: How to Support the P4HR Movement Anonymously

For many pilots and aviation professionals, the decision to speak out about the FAA HIMS Program comes with serious personal risk. From fear of retaliation to concern over career consequences, it's understandable that some hesitate to share their stories or lend their voice to the movement.

At Pilots for HIMS Reform (P4HR), we recognize this fear—and we built this movement with your safety and privacy in mind.

You’re Not Alone—And You Don’t Have to Go Public to Make a Difference

Our growing coalition includes pilots at all stages of monitoring, medical review, and recovery—many of whom remain anonymous while actively shaping policy discussions, legislative proposals, and public awareness campaigns. You don’t need to give up your identity to help reform the system.

Let your voice be heard—but do it in a safe, anonymous, and cautious manner.

We know that retaliation is real—and we’re not naïve about the risks. But there are ways to protect yourself, build strength in numbers, and counteract the fear that keeps so many silent. Your voice matters, and you can use it without exposing yourself to unnecessary harm.

✅ 1. Use an Anonymous Email Address

You can create a free, anonymous email address (e.g., through ProtonMail, Tutanota, or even Gmail with no personal identifiers) and subscribe to our mailing list or contact us directly. This lets you:

  • Receive updates on reform efforts
  • Send us your feedback or story without revealing who you are
  • Join advocacy opportunities without being publicly linked

👉 Subscribe anonymously here

✅ 2. Submit Your Story Without Your Name

We encourage pilots and families to share their experiences with the HIMS Program—whether short-term or long-term, successful or not. You can submit your story with no name, no location, and no identifiers. We’ll honor your privacy while helping others understand the truth about this system.

👉 Submit your story anonymously

✅ 3. Offer Input on Our Legislative Work—Privately

Many of the improvements we’ve made to the P4HR Act of 2025 came directly from anonymous pilot suggestions. You can send proposed edits, concerns, or additions using your anonymous email, and we’ll review every message closely.

👉 Read the Act and send feedback

✅ 4. Help Spread the Word (Without Posting Publicly)

Even if you’re not ready to post on social media or email your union, you can still support us:

  • Share our site links privately with trusted friends
  • Print a flyer and leave it in a crew room
  • Encourage others to subscribe anonymously, too

Every small action builds momentum.

✅ 5. Join Our Behind-the-Scenes Working Groups

We’re building task forces for:

  • Research and data gathering
  • Legal and regulatory strategy
  • Website content and policy writing

You can join under an alias and work entirely behind the scenes, protected by layers of anonymity and community support.

There’s Strength in Numbers—Even if the Names Are Hidden

We’re witnessing a shift—even within the FAA, where some are beginning to acknowledge that the system is flawed. But change doesn’t happen on its own.

It happens because brave people like you find ways to speak up—on your own terms.

We understand the fear. We’ve lived it. That’s why this movement is designed to shield your identity while amplifying your impact. So whether you choose to whisper, write, or work quietly in the background—you are heard. You are not alone. And you are making a difference.

We’ve got your back.
